Description

You will lead the architecture and delivery of repeatable, production-ready Azure platform capabilities and services. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure and networking, AKS/container deployments, CI/CD automation, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, and end-to-end observability and DevSecOps. You’ll also support AI-driven solutions on Azure, including generative AI patterns such as RAG and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure (subscriptions, resource groups, networking, identity, governance, security, and platform services)
• Create repeatable Azure deployment patterns for application, API, front-end, microservices, containers, serverless, data integrations, and AI-driven workloads
• Deploy and operate AKS, covering node pools, ingress, workload identity, secrets management, autoscaling, monitoring, registry integration, and container security
• Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including reusable modules, multi-environment delivery, automated validation, and CI/CD integration
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or comparable tools
• Enable DevOps/DevSecOps practices such as automated testing, security scanning, artifact management, environment promotion, approvals, rollback strategies, and release automation
• Use AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate scripting, IaC, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Deploy cloud-native solutions with Azure services (App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
• Assist with deploying AI solutions using Azure AI (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning)
• Develop AI components and patterns including RAG, agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, tool/function calling, prompt management, grounding, evaluation, and responsible AI controls
• Implement secure integration patterns using managed identities, RBAC, private endpoints/private DNS, NSGs, firewalls, and API gateways
• Set up observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Container Insights, dashboards, alerts, distributed tracing, and operational runbooks
• Resolve complex production incidents across infrastructure, networking, deployments, performance, and security
• Tune Azure environments for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Provide technical leadership: standards, templates, documentation, engineering guidance, mentoring, and code reviews
• Partner with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable Azure implementations

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and managing Azure cloud solutions in enterprise settings
• Strong Azure networking, identity, governance, security, monitoring, and platform services knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zone and hub-and-spoke networking (private endpoints, private DNS, NSGs, firewalls, route tables)
• Extensive AKS and container experience (ingress, workload identity, autoscaling, monitoring, container registries, security)
• Substantial Terraform (or comparable IaC) experience including modules, state, validation, and multi-environment delivery
• Substantial CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or similar)
• Solid DevOps and DevSecOps experience (automated testing, security scanning, artifact management, release automation, governance)
• Experience with GitHub collaboration practices including pull requests and code reviews
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or comparable AI-assisted development tools
• Azure PaaS and integration services experience (App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB)
• Observability experience using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Container Insights, dashboards, alerting, and runbooks
• Knowledge of Azure AI and Generative AI services, especially Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search
• Working knowledge of AI patterns such as RAG, agentic workflows, multi-agent orchestration, tool/function calling, grounding, prompt management, evaluation, and responsible AI
• Ability to resolve complex issues spanning cloud, networking, containers, CI/CD, security, and application integration
• Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
• Ability to operate independently and own production-grade cloud delivery and support
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, security, product, and business stakeholders
