Description

You will support a strategic managed Kafka platform using Confluent Kafka across multiple regions and tenancy models, enabling real-time data processing. The role also involves enhancing and maintaining Kubernetes-based infrastructure and building DevOps CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments. You will join an international team and provide evening/weekend support via an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Confluent Kafka platform across multiple regions and tenancy models

• Maintain and enhance Kubernetes-based infrastructure for performance and scalability

• Build and refine DevOps CI/CD pipelines to speed up deployment cycles

• Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions

• Participate in an on-call rota for evening and weekend support

• Support out-of-hours change activities to minimize downtime

• Continuously improve platform security, performance, and reliability

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering a Kafka platform

• Strong expertise in Confluent Kafka and Kubernetes

• Solid DevOps background and CI/CD pipeline automation experience

• Ability to communicate fluently in English (interviews fully in English)

• Availability during core hours (10:00–16:00 PL time) with flexibility on start/finish

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota

• Minimum 6 days per month presence in Kraków

• Existing legal right to work in the European Union
