Description

Design, implement, and manage highly resilient, scalable, and secure Azure infrastructure, including Landing Zones and the overall Azure platform. Build an Azure foundation platform that enables application deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code and automated, repeatable patterns. Ensure secure-by-design delivery, compliance with mandatory security policies, and operational risk standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage an Azure foundation platform to enable application deployments

• Engineer solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code methods (e.g., Terraform)

• Execute functional pattern lifecycle (design, document, develop, maintain) and manage a code library

• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (IAM, networking, monitoring, operating systems, containers)

• Manage Azure connectivity and networking (ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, traffic routing, NSGs, Azure Firewall)

• Consume centrally agreed hardened OS images (Linux and Windows)

• Ensure compliance with centrally defined security and operational risk standards (network, firewall, OS, logging, monitoring, availability, resiliency)

• Build and support Azure services and DevOps/CI/CD enablement for multiple technology stacks

Requirements

• Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure infrastructure and Landing Zones

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python)

• Hands-on knowledge of Azure security, governance, monitoring, cost management, and resilience best practices

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps

• Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and techniques

• Proficient understanding and implementation of CI/CD pipelines across multiple technology stacks

• Security and compliance experience (IAM and cloud auditing/monitoring tools)

• Customer/stakeholder focus with ability to collaborate with application and cross-functional IT teams
