Description

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer with GCP exposure, you will design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure platforms. The role supports AI and data platforms by ensuring high availability, security, and strong performance, and by enabling AI/ML workloads. You will automate deployments with Infrastructure-as-Code and collaborate with data science and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on AI workloads

• Build automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)

• Apply security practices including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and network security

• Design and manage Azure AI and Data platform components for AI projects

• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to support effective model development environments

• Use AI tools to enhance infrastructure operations and troubleshooting

• Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations

• Collaborate with architects and managers to accelerate MVP development

• Stay up to date with new Azure services and recommend improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or certifications preferred)

• 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture

• Proven experience with Azure services (virtual machines, storage solutions, databases)

• Hands-on Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code experience

• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration with Azure

• Networking fundamentals knowledge for Azure environments

• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools (native and third-party)

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in cloud environments

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants and frameworks (plus)
