Description

You will develop a reporting layer based on IBM Cognos and Microsoft Power BI. You will design, build, and optimize reports and dashboards, gather and analyze business requirements, and support rollout by preparing instructions and training materials. You will collaborate with Business, IT, and a vendor in a large matrix-structured project.

Responsibilities

• Develop the reporting layer using IBM Cognos and Power BI

• Design, create, and optimize reports and dashboards

• Gather and analyze business requirements and prioritize them with Business and suppliers

• Support implementation: prepare instructions and training materials; work with requirements

• Collaborate across Business–IT–vendor boundaries in a large matrix project

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Reporting Expert/Programmer, including: IBM Cognos (at least 5 years) and Power BI (at least 2 years)

• Independence in planning and executing tasks

• Analytical and critical thinking; ability to solve complex business problems

• Excellent communication and organization

• Participation in at least one implementation project for the energy sector

• Experience as a Systems Analyst / Senior Consultant in power/utility projects

• Basic knowledge of electricity trading and distribution

• Knowledge of business analysis techniques (BPMN, UML, process modeling)

• Experience in large projects with an extensive matrix structure
