Description

You will design and deliver end-to-end BI solutions in Power BI, including semantic models, reports, and data modeling using dbt/Snowflake. You will optimize data models, queries, and reports, support developers, and perform code/model reviews with mentoring. The role includes automating development, testing, deployment, and monitoring using APIs, scripts, CI/CD, and AI-based automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop semantic models, reports, and Power BI solutions

• Build data models in dbt/Snowflake and implement business logic in the appropriate layer

• Deliver end-to-end solutions from the data layer to BI products

• Optimize data models, queries, and reports

• Troubleshoot production issues

• Support developers with complex technical problems

• Conduct code/model reviews and help teams choose implementation approaches

• Provide mentoring and share knowledge with the team

• Develop technical standards and best practices

• Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, or refactor

• Automate development, testing, deployment, and monitoring

• Use APIs, scripts, CI/CD, and AI tools to automate work

• Develop a repeatable, controlled BI product delivery process

• Implement shared models, components, and standards across multiple markets

• Adapt central solutions to local needs without duplicating implementations

• Collaborate with central Data/BI teams and represent local team needs

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of Power BI/Power BI Service, semantic models, and DAX

• Very good SQL knowledge plus practical experience with dbt and Snowflake (or similar cloud platform)

• Experience in data modeling, KPI definition, and end-to-end BI solutions

• Ability to consciously split business logic between dbt/Snowflake and Power BI

• Experience with Git, code review, CI/CD, and full development-to-production process

• Practical experience with APIs and scripts (e.g., Python/PowerShell)

• Experience with technical leadership, mentoring, and supporting developers

• Independence, ownership, proactivity, and collaboration with business and Data/BI teams

• English at a level enabling comfortable work in an international environment
