Description

As a Domain Architect, you define and govern technology, application, integration, and data standards for a business domain. You partner with business leaders and Digital teams to translate operational needs into technology roadmaps, create target architectures and transformation roadmaps, and evaluate initiatives for architectural fit and integration compatibility. You also monitor cloud and AI market trends and initiate proof-of-concepts that deliver clear business value.

Role Responsibilities

• Define technology, application, integration, and data standards for the assigned business domain
• Collaborate with business leaders and Digital teams to identify opportunities, select tools, and build technology roadmaps
• Develop target architectures and transformation roadmaps focused on simplifying applications and optimizing costs
• Evaluate digital initiatives and candidate solutions for architectural fit, scalability, and integration compatibility
• Track market trends (especially Cloud and AI) and lead proof-of-concepts
• Guide project teams through architectural decision-making across the initiative lifecycle

Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of IT experience with significant time in architecture, solution design, or application management aligned with business domains
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS) and modern cloud-based application ecosystems
• Knowledge of standard architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent)
• Experience with digital process automation, data-driven applications, and identifying practical AI use cases
• Fluent English with strong stakeholder management skills in international or matrixed environments
• Strong ability to understand business processes and evaluate third-party SaaS/COTS tools
