Description

Support the implementation, configuration, and operational activities for document scanning, capture, and OCR solutions such as Kofax and ABBYY. Configure and optimize document classification, recognition, and OCR processes (preferably ABBYY FlexiCapture) and troubleshoot production issues across capture, OCR, workflow, and integration components. Translate document capture requirements from business and technical stakeholders into technical configurations.

Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot document classification, recognition, and OCR workflows (Kofax/ABBYY)

• Support deployment, administration, and troubleshooting on Windows Server environments

• Use SQL for data analysis, issue investigation, troubleshooting, and validation

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot XML and XSLT-based configurations and transformations

• Configure and support XML configuration-driven workflow/BPM solutions (e.g., BizTalk)

• Investigate production and application issues across capture, classification, OCR, workflow, and integration components

• Coordinate with onsite customer stakeholders and offshore technical teams for implementation, testing, deployment, and issue resolution

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration details, troubleshooting guides, and solution-related documentation

• Support customer workshops, technical discussions, testing, go-live, and post-production support

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with scanning and capture solutions (Kofax/ABBYY or similar)

• Experience configuring and optimizing document classification and OCR (preferably ABBYY FlexiCapture)

• Knowledge of Windows Server environments

• SQL skills for analysis and troubleshooting

• Knowledge of XML and XSLT

• Experience with workflow/BPM tools, ideally XML configuration-driven solutions such as BizTalk

• Fluent German and EU work authorization/nationality preferred for effective onsite/customer collaboration
