Description

Lead the architecture of large-scale software systems with a focus on distributed systems, microservices, and APIs. Apply architecture fundamentals—security-by-design, resiliency, performance, and maintainability—while using Kubernetes, Kafka, and Airflow to shape solutions. Partner with global teams and stakeholders to turn business goals into actionable designs and delivery guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design large-scale software systems, including distributed systems, microservices, and APIs

• Develop solution architecture leveraging Kubernetes, Kafka, and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)

• Ensure architecture quality through security-by-design, resiliency, performance, and maintainability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution/system architecture (or equivalent senior engineering with strong architecture ownership)

• Proven experience designing large-scale software systems (distributed systems, microservices, APIs)

• Hands-on or design-level expertise with Kubernetes, Kafka, and Airflow (or similar)

• Strong architecture fundamentals: security-by-design, resiliency, performance, maintainability

• Ability to translate business goals into actionable technical designs and guide delivery

• Excellent communication skills for global stakeholder alignment
