Description

Lead technical delivery for a cloud data platform supporting Finance & Risk in a regulated banking environment. Work closely with FR360 development teams and the Common Data Sourcing initiative to translate target architecture into practical system designs that meet maintainability, performance, security, and testability requirements. Support integration of 200+ source systems to provide trusted, traceable, and historically consistent data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and drive the technical vision and direction with the team

• Lead technical work and help developers resolve complex design questions

• Translate target architecture into system design and implementation with architects

• Facilitate and document key technical and system design decisions

• Create technical designs that incorporate non-functional requirements (NFRs)

• Support technical deliveries across FR360 and Common Data Sourcing, including dependencies

• Promote DevOps, CI/CD, and secure-by-design practices

• Challenge proposals and assess technical trade-offs

• Communicate and collaborate with developers, architects, managers, product owners, and stakeholders

• Drive the team to adapt to technical and process changes

Requirements

• Strong background as a senior developer, Tech Lead, or similar technical leadership role

• Experience with data platforms, data warehousing, data integration, or data engineering

• Deep understanding of system design and data structures; ability to turn complex requirements into pragmatic solutions

• Good understanding of non-functional requirements and quality/security-by-design practices

• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, dbt, Dataform, Terraform, and Python

• Experience with data modelling

• Structured and pragmatic problem-solving approach

• Professional proficiency in English
