A Dynamics 365 Solution Architect is needed to lead the architectural vision during a 3-month Discovery & Design phase for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation.

Description

You will shape a scalable target-state architecture for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Field Service, working with senior stakeholders and an international team. You will assess current processes, evaluate technical possibilities and OOTB capabilities, guide Proofs of Concept (PoCs), and ensure alignment with business objectives and platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural workshops with customer SMEs to understand systems, processes, constraints, data flows, and integration points
• Define the target solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Field Service (data models, module boundaries, cross-platform interactions)
• Evaluate Dynamics 365 OOTB capabilities and identify opportunities for standardization and configuration
• Guide the design and execution of PoCs to validate critical functionality and architectural assumptions
• Develop high-level integration designs and architecture diagrams connecting Dynamics 365 with legacy/enterprise systems
• Work with functional consultants to ensure process designs are technically feasible within Dynamics 365
• Contribute to the Discovery backlog by defining epics, features, dependencies, and technical considerations
• Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies, and prerequisites for implementation
• Produce Discovery deliverables such as solution outlines, conceptual architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, PoC results, and readiness assessments

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture, particularly Dynamics 365 Project Operations and/or Field Service
• Proven experience designing conceptual solution architectures during Discovery, assessment, or pre-implementation phases
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse: data structures, entity modeling, and cross-module relationships
• Familiarity with Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages
• Understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and Azure Integration Services
• Ability to create high-level architecture diagrams, model business processes, and document solutions
• Experience facilitating technical and functional workshops with SMEs and senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
