Description

You will help implement and maintain cloud services in line with a “Cloud First” strategy. The role focuses on building AWS-based solutions and Python applications, automating cloud/operations via Infrastructure as Code, and supporting security, monitoring, and production reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications, adding new features and improving existing solutions

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud services and architectures

• Collaborate with application teams on migration, deployment, and operations in AWS

• Automate operational processes and cloud solutions using Python and Infrastructure as Code tools

• Develop and update security mechanisms and ensure compliance with applicable requirements

• Monitor and verify service controls; improve dashboards and compliance monitoring tools

• Work with CI/CD tooling to improve build, test, and deployment processes

• Collaborate with architects, business, and security teams on solution design, risk assessment, and technical improvements

• Participate in on-call rotations (as defined by the team)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in software engineering, cloud solutions, or related technical areas

• Very strong Python knowledge, including application development and maintenance

• Practical experience with AWS design, deployment, and operations

• Strong knowledge of AWS services: IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, EC2, ECS, ECR, Step Functions, RDS, S3, Amazon Bedrock, NeptuneDB

• CI/CD experience, especially Jenkins, and version control (Git)

• Automation/configuration management experience (Ansible)

• Solid Linux and/or Windows operating system knowledge

• Experience maintaining production environments, diagnosing issues, and resolving incidents

• Ability to automate processes and improve existing solutions

• Clear communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
