Description

Lead and operationalize key Data Governance initiatives, including Data Governance Office, governance artifacts, metadata management, and data quality. Coordinate work across Data Governance, IT, and business teams while managing dependencies between Data Governance projects and business initiatives. Plan and monitor schedule, scope, budget, deliverables, risks, and changes, and ensure smooth delivery from planning through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects for implementing and operationalizing Data Governance Office, Data Governance artifacts, metadata management, and data quality
• Coordinate efforts between Data Governance, IT, and business teams
• Manage dependencies between Data Governance projects and business initiatives
• Plan and monitor schedule, scope, budget, and key deliverables
• Manage risks, dependencies, and project changes
• Coordinate project teams and stakeholders across organizational levels
• Prepare status updates, report progress, and communicate with key stakeholders
• Ensure end-to-end execution from planning through implementation

Requirements

• Senior-level experience independently leading and delivering multi-area projects in Data Governance / Data Management
• Practical knowledge of data management processes, including Data Governance operating models, data architecture, metadata management, and data quality
• Very good knowledge of project and portfolio management tools: Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
• Experience working with multiple teams and stakeholders and managing dependencies between projects
