Description

Technical Project Manager to coordinate end-to-end delivery lifecycle for a high-performance open ecosystem on Google Cloud. You will bridge technical and business execution, manage architectural risks and tech debt early, and drive DevSecOps automation with a clear Definition of Done. The role also includes hands-on support such as deep code reviews, debugging infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, and troubleshooting production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Technical orchestration: connect business strategy with technical delivery; identify architecture risks/tech debt; manage initiatives, dependencies, and stakeholders

• DevSecOps: ensure automation and required controls; manage compliance risk; align on a consistent Definition of Done

• Day-to-day operations: keep sprints healthy; remove technical blockers; run effective stand-ups; balance fast feature delivery with system stability

• Hands-on support: perform deep code reviews; debug infrastructure-as-code (Terraform); resolve production incident issues

• Open-source advocacy: help choose and implement open-source tools to replace proprietary vendor platforms

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience

• Practical experience in at least two: Java, Python, Node.js, Go

• GCP infrastructure knowledge: GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL)

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, SRE)

• Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban

• Ability to identify related initiatives and manage dependencies and stakeholders

• Practical security-first experience (DevSecOps)

• Secrets management experience including KMS

• Container security knowledge

• Experience with compliance-as-code

• Data-driven leadership using DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time)

• Willingness to do hands-on technical work (including Terraform debugging and deep code reviews)
