Description

You will analyze business needs from financial clients and translate them into functional requirements and IT solutions for a SaaS platform supporting portfolio and risk management. The role involves independently preparing analytical specifications for development teams, validating implementations with testing scenarios, and collaborating directly with clients and Agile/Scrum teams. You will also create analyses and reports and contribute to designing and evolving product solutions with the Product Owner and developers.

Responsibilities

• Translate client business needs into functional requirements and IT solutions for portfolio and risk management.
• Create analytical specifications for development teams, including requirements, documentation, examples, and prototypes (risk and investment limit metrics, reporting, instrument/portfolio information, and accounting/market data processing).
• Analyze business processes, identify dependencies, and recommend solutions aligned with client needs.
• Verify the correctness of implemented solutions: prepare test scenarios and participate in testing and quality assurance.
• Consult with clients and stakeholders (portfolio, risk, and analytics owners) and gather requirements.
• Prepare analyses and reports that help clients use the provided solutions.
• Design and develop portfolio and risk management solutions together with the Product Owner and developers.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum project delivery and collaborate across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or business-to-system analysis (preferably IT projects or digital product development).
• Experience independently collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into requirements for IT teams.
• Ability to analyze business processes, identify dependencies, and propose business-aligned solutions.
• Ability to run discussions with clients/business stakeholders and translate business needs into the language of technology teams.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking; independence in solving complex problems.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
• Good organization, accountability, and meeting deadlines.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Openness to using AI-based tools for requirements analysis and documentation.
• Willingness to develop practical AI competencies for the business analyst role.
