Description

You’ll explore and analyze data to create insights that drive product development. The role covers the full analytics chain—building and evolving dbt data models, ensuring data quality, implementing tracking, and communicating insights. AI will be integrated into your workflow, including validating AI-assisted analyses and identifying where it delivers real value.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve data models in dbt

• Ensure data quality, perform validation, and troubleshoot issues

• Implement tracking and analytics data collection

• Run exploratory and hypothesis-driven analyses (including A/B testing)

• Use AI/LLMs to investigate questions, develop solutions, and build analysis workflows

• Review and validate AI-assisted analyses to assess strengths, limits, and value

• Communicate insights through storytelling and visualization to different audiences

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, designers, and UX; help improve team processes and tooling

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Python

• Experience with data modeling and semantic layers; knowledge of Git, BigQuery, and dbt

• Stay current on AI tools and how to apply AI in analysis work

• Experience using LLMs as part of analytical work, including understanding strengths and limitations

• Practical experience building analysis workflows with LLMs

• Experience with exploratory analysis and hypothesis-driven data work

• Experience with data quality, validation, and debugging/troubleshooting

• Experience visualizing and communicating data (visualization tools or custom analysis interfaces)
