Description

You will help develop the data platform, automate reporting, and translate company data into business recommendations. The role spans data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics—building pipelines and models in BigQuery/dbt and delivering dashboards and KPI reporting in Power BI/DAX, with additional work on AI agent systems for automated reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines from company systems into Google BigQuery

• Integrate data from sources such as Shopify, Odoo, and marketing platforms via APIs and connectors

• Create and maintain ELT processes and data transformations in dbt (with tests and documentation)

• Design data models for reporting, analysis, and AI agents

• Automate data transfers, schedule runs, monitor executions, and resolve errors

• Test data quality (completeness, accuracy, freshness)

• Optimize BigQuery performance and processing costs

• Version and document data flows

• Build and improve Power BI dashboards for leadership and teams

• Manage data models, relationships, and metrics in DAX

• Convert business requirements into clear reports and unified KPIs

• Automate recurring reporting and reduce manual spreadsheets

• Compare results vs plans/budgets and prior periods; validate report correctness and investigate discrepancies

• Perform analyses across revenue, margin, costs, and profitability by product/market/channel

• Analyze customer behavior, repeat purchases, and retention; support marketing campaign evaluation

• Analyze inventory, turnover, and product availability

• Present conclusions clearly and identify opportunities to improve

• Collaborate on AI agents for automated reports/analysis, including defining reliable KPI models and enabling natural-language questions over company data

• Verify agent outputs for correctness and traceability of used data

• Coordinate with marketing, finance, operations, purchasing, e-commerce, and customer support; validate requirements and prioritize by business impact

• Help colleagues interpret data and use reports; collaborate with developers and external partners on integrations and BI development

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or data engineering

• Strong SQL proficiency; able to work independently with data from multiple sources

• Practical experience with Google BigQuery

• Experience building data models and transformations in dbt, including tests and documentation

• Experience creating Power BI reports and working with data modeling and DAX

• Understanding of data warehouse principles, ETL/ELT processes, and incremental loading

• Ability to use Python and REST API to retrieve and process data

• Experience working with Git and code versioning

• Ability to validate data correctness and investigate root causes of inconsistencies

• Strong communication with non-technical colleagues and ability to translate findings into recommendations
