Description

You will support development of a Protein Science Experiments application, a complex LIMS system for antibody discovery and screening campaigns. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from scientists and stakeholders, translating them into a consistent product vision, and writing documentation for the development team. You will also provide initial lab-user support by triaging issues and helping set business priorities for bug fixes, with occasional evening meetings aligned to the San Francisco time zone.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements on application functionality and design

• Translate and simplify requirements into a consistent product vision

• Collaborate with the Product Owner, UX designer, and other analysts to identify optimal solutions

• Produce written documentation to ensure shared understanding of product vision

• Provide initial support to laboratory users, triage issues, and prioritize bug fixes

• Maintain effective communication between business and IT teams

• Manage the product backlog and support agile execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of business analysis experience, focused on LIMS requirements gathering and backlog management

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Protein Science, Cellular Biology, or related field

• Proficient knowledge of biotechnology/life sciences, including molecular cloning, protein expression, and antibody research

• Strong command of JIRA and agile methodologies; experience with user stories and product backlog management

• Excellent written and spoken Polish and English for scientific/informatics communication

• Residency in Poland
