Description

The Senior Conversion Analyst role focuses on hands-on conversion and reconciliation of State Street MCH accounting data, either from an external administrator’s system or between MCH entities during fund events. You will prepare and review migration reconciliation files, analyze and explain discrepancies, and present results to stakeholders. You may independently manage smaller conversion/migration projects and support larger migration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review accounting migration reconciliation files
• Analyze discrepancies between accounting records and administrator data, or between different sets of accounting data during inter-fund transfers
• Present reconciliation and comparison results to project stakeholders
• Independently manage smaller conversion/migration projects
• Take ownership of key activities within larger migration projects
• Coordinate with internal project teams and other stakeholders
• Complete project activities and ad-hoc requests within agreed deadlines
• Support creation and maintenance of procedures and job aids
• Identify lessons learned and opportunities to improve conversion processes and controls
• Support knowledge transfer and cross-training within the team
• Assist with onboarding and training less experienced colleagues

Requirements

• Direct hands-on experience converting/transferring MCH accounting data into State Street MCH or between MCH entities during fund events
• Very good knowledge of MCH
• Hands-on MCH accounting data conversion/migration experience
• Strong understanding of fund accounting processes
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Ability to investigate and explain accounting data discrepancies
• Ability to independently manage workload and take ownership of assigned activities
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent written and spoken English
