Description

You will take full responsibility for the strategy and delivery of an organization-wide transformation and migration of SAS Analytics environments into a modern data ecosystem. You will manage a transformation portfolio, align dependencies across programs and project streams, and ensure measurable business benefits through governance, risk controls, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee execution of the SAS Analytics transformation strategy at enterprise scale

• Create the target transformation model, investment priorities, success metrics, and expected business benefits

• Manage a portfolio of initiatives: SAS platform modernization, workload migration, code adaptation, and decommissioning of legacy solutions

• Ensure cross-program consistency; resolve dependencies, conflicts, and key issues beyond individual team scope

• Partner with executive, business, technology, and control stakeholders to align direction, priorities, funding, and key decisions

• Oversee migration and legacy decommissioning plans, including platform readiness, testing, business acceptance, cutover, and contingency procedures

• Ensure governance, controls, quality, and compliance with regulatory and risk management requirements

• Monitor goals, budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and business benefits; prepare reports for leadership

• Manage investment planning, financial forecasts, resource allocation, and prioritization of new transformation initiatives

• Supervise external vendors, negotiate key cooperation terms, and enforce contractual commitments

• Develop Program Managers and project stream leaders; set management standards and promote continuous improvement

• Ensure successful rollout of the new SAS Analytics environment, including organization preparation, communications, training, and operating model changes

• Embed solutions into business and operational processes; ensure ownership for maintenance and further platform development

• Track adoption and realized benefits; initiate corrective actions when outcomes deviate

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience managing programs, portfolios, or technology transformations (including large and complex international initiatives)

• Strong experience with platform transformations and data migrations, specifically in SAS Analytics environments

• Knowledge of SAS migration dependencies: code modernization, data lineage, data reconciliation, controls, testing, and production readiness

• Experience leading complex technology transformations across multiple business areas, platforms, and geographic locations

• Ability to translate organizational strategy into transformation plans, priorities, schedules, and measurable business outcomes

• Experience creating governance structures, managing risk, inter-program dependencies, budgets, and expected benefits

• Experience with regulated financial institutions: security requirements, internal controls, audit, and regulatory compliance

• Experience in investment management, budget forecasting, resource planning, and optimization of costs and delivery capacity

• Proven ability to lead and develop teams of Programme Managers, project stream leaders, and specialists

• Excellent communication and presentation skills with both executive stakeholders and technical teams

• Fluent English
