Description

The main function of the project design engineer is to design painting systems so that customer requirements are met and projects can be implemented successfully.

Responsibilities

• Design painting systems
• Calculate components
• Coordinate and discuss customer requirements
• Coordinate with electrical engineering and control design
• Run project meetings and perform customer acceptance activities

Requirements (Must Haves)

• Completed technical degree or technician training
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment
• CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks or Inventor
• Knowledge of plant engineering, ideally painting technology
• Very good German skills
• Willingness for occasional business travel

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of automation technology
• Experience in project execution
• Additional language skills (e.g., English)
