Description

Design backend architectures for new Java and Spring-based solutions and guide architectural changes to keep the system consistent. Propose and implement new technological approaches, design integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON and XML, and ensure quality, scalability, performance, and security. Troubleshoot production issues using monitoring and logging tools and produce architecture documentation with UML and Enterprise Architect.

Responsibilities

• Architect new backend solutions in Java and Spring

• Propose, implement, and optimize technological solutions

• Oversee architectural changes and maintain system coherence

• Design integrations between systems (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)

• Collaborate with development, analytics, infrastructure, and security teams

• Create architectural documentation with UML and Enterprise Architect

• Ensure solution quality, scalability, performance, and security

• Analyze and resolve production problems using monitoring and logging tools

• Improve team tools and working practices

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an Architect

• At least 5 years of experience building Java applications

• Very good knowledge of Spring or Spring Boot

• Very good knowledge of backend application design

• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns

• Experience designing new solutions with UML and Enterprise Architect

• Good or very good knowledge of database systems

• Knowledge of Oracle and Elasticsearch

• Knowledge of system integration topics: REST, JSON, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of Git/Gerrit, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA, and JIRA

• English knowledge enabling work with technical documentation and collaboration
