Senior Backend Engineer

Remote 100% (POLAND)

Here at Ntaitive, we are hiring a language-agnostic Backend Software Engineer to architect the core engine behind our client's EM massive-scale simulation platform

You will own the compute layer that bridges on-prem High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters with elastic AWS infrastructure, handling massive, distributed compute workloads where throughput, memory footprint, and low-latency matter.

What You’ll Own

• Architect scalable simulation APIs in Java, C++, or Python.

• Bridge on-prem HPC clusters to AWS via Kubernetes and Terraform.

• Build high-throughput data caching and storage layers.

• Optimize Linux systems and network performance for zero downtime.

What You Bring

• Solid backend depth in Java, C++, or Python and distributed systems.

• Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform experience.

• Low-level Linux troubleshooting skills (CPU, memory, network I/O).

• End-to-end product ownership from design to production.

Bonus Points

• Prior exposure to HPC workload schedulers (Slurm, PBS), high-speed interconnects (InfiniBand/RDMA), or large-scale scientific modeling platforms.
