Description

Design, build, and operate distributed cloud services that power Dataverse Runtime and support mission-critical enterprise workloads worldwide. Develop platform capabilities that let AI agents and intelligent applications securely access enterprise data, execute business logic, and automate real-world business processes. Drive architecture and operational improvements across reliability, scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence, serving as a DRI for production services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate distributed cloud services for Dataverse Runtime

• Enable AI agents, copilots, and intelligent applications to access enterprise data securely and automate workflows

• Lead improvements in reliability, scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence

• Drive technical architecture, design reviews, and engineering decisions across feature areas and partner teams

• Partner across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure, and AI platform teams

• Own services end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, live-site support, and continuous improvement

• Participate in on-call rotations, incident mitigation, root cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements as a DRI

• Use AI-powered engineering tools to improve development velocity, code quality, and operational effectiveness

• Mentor engineers and help establish best practices for modern software engineering and operational excellence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or equivalent experience)

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check and re-screening every two years
