Description

You will verify and validate systems and devices with a strong focus on software for cryo-biobanking. The role requires close collaboration with the software development team to plan and test customer workflows and IT connections, capture and evaluate customer-specific requirements, and develop technical solutions with internal departments. You will also create device documentation and independently handle tasks, including evaluating results and presenting them to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Verify and validate systems and devices, focusing on software

• Work closely with the software development department

• Plan workflows and IT connections and test them at customer sites

• Record and assess customer-specific requirements

• Develop technical solutions in coordination with internal teams (development, production, service)

• Create device documentation

• Independently and creatively complete assigned tasks, including technical evaluation of results/information and presenting outcomes to supervisors

Requirements

• Technical or natural science degree (Bachelor/Technician) or comparable experience as a skilled worker in a related field

• Knowledge of computers and networks

• Basic knowledge of software development, software testing, and software documentation

• Creativity in solving technical problems

• Team-oriented and flexible working style

• Open and service-oriented approach when dealing with customers

• Willingness for international travel if needed

• Good English skills in speaking and writing (preferred)

• Willingness to commute to 07549 Gera or plan relocation before starting

• German language proficiency required
