Description

You will work in a Scrum team performing technical and functional software tests. Responsibilities include creating test cases from specifications and meeting outcomes, running manual tests, maintaining test scripts, and managing test data and environments. You will also review program documentation and analyze quality feedback from Support.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute technical (and some functional) tests in a Scrum team

• Create test cases based on specifications and results from oral coordination

• Perform manual testing

• Create and maintain test scripts

• Record and track defects in Microsoft Team Foundation Server

• Maintain and optimize test data and test environments

• Review online help, handbooks, and other program documentation

• Handle and analyze quality-relevant feedback from Support

Requirements

• Completed IT apprenticeship or degree in an IT-related field, or comparable qualification

• Experience in software testing, ideally with ISTQB certification

• SQL knowledge for research in a Microsoft SQL database

• Ability to read and interpret XML files

• Good knowledge of Windows operating systems

• Experience with Scrum or other agile methods is beneficial

• Experience with PowerShell or programming knowledge in C# is beneficial
