Description

You will work in Hosting & Cloud Services within Infrastructure Technologies, supporting the expansion of restricted environments that protect critical operations. The role includes reviewing and validating technical change requests, maintaining platform cybersecurity and compliance, and coordinating daily incident resolution while tracking platform lifecycles. You will also collaborate with a German Restricted Environments team to harmonize operational methods.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate technical change requests before system updates are implemented

• Maintain platform cybersecurity, guard against configuration drift, and ensure systems meet regulatory compliance standards

• Coordinate daily incident resolution and track platform lifecycles to proactively address component obsolescence

• Direct external service contractors carrying out routine, hands-on technical operations

• Participate in Service Management Board (SMB) meetings and collaborate with the German Restricted Environments team

Requirements

• Completed degree in IT or a comparable field of study

• Basic understanding of VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper-V infrastructures

• Experience with Windows and Linux; knowledge of Unix systems such as AIX and Solaris

• Familiarity with Oracle, MS SQL, and centralized patching platforms such as SCCM, RedHat Satellite, and WSUS

• Basic understanding of NetApp NAS architectures

• Strong vigilance regarding security and compliance, with strong organizational skills and clear communication in a collaborative multi-site environment

• Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity
