Description

Design and continuously improve a cloud environment based on Microsoft Azure following a Compliant-by-Design approach. Implement regulatory requirements—especially DORA, MaRisk, and BSI standards—and help create solutions that remain future-proof and transferable to other cloud providers. Support cloud migration and integration of compliance requirements, and advise business and IT application development on compliance and cloud computing needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and further develop the cloud environment (currently Microsoft Azure) using a Compliant-by-Design approach

• Practical implementation of regulatory requirements (DORA, MaRisk, BSI standards) to enable future-proof, portable solutions

• Contribute to cloud migration and integration projects for compliance requirements

• Support defining central processes and implementing existing security standards

• Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, service managers, IT security, data protection, and IT architecture to establish a secure, rule-compliant, scalable cloud environment

• Advise business units and IT application development on compliance and cloud computing requirements, linking efficiency with regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification

• First or several years of experience in cloud computing and compliance management, particularly in the financial services context

• Knowledge of implementing cloud transformation projects, especially with Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements from DORA, MaRisk, and BSI standards or readiness for intensive onboarding

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and interest in additional cloud platforms

• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and ability to explain complex topics clearly

• Independent, customer-oriented working style and high willingness to learn

• Very good German and good English skills (written and spoken)
