Description

You will design, develop, and optimize cloud architecture based on Microsoft Azure and AWS. You’ll evaluate architecture and solution concepts, support the introduction of new applications, and advance cloud governance through binding architecture principles, standards, and secure processes. You will also coordinate parts of projects with internal teams and external service providers and solve complex technical issues in the Azure/AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and optimize the cloud architecture on Azure and AWS, including scalability, IT security, governance, and cost efficiency.
• Assess architecture and solution concepts for new and existing IT systems and derive sustainable cloud solutions for the IT landscape.
• Support business areas when introducing new applications and help define suitable cloud solutions while ensuring compliance with architecture standards and best practices.
• Continuously improve cloud governance by defining binding architecture principles and establishing standards and processes for secure and efficient use of cloud platforms.
• Take ownership of sub-projects/projects and coordinate collaboration between internal teams and external service providers.
• Analyze and solve complex technical problems in the Azure and AWS environment, and support challenging issues related to cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Successfully completed IT training (Fachinformatiker) or a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure and AWS, especially in cloud architecture, governance, and cloud services.
• Experience with complex enterprise IT infrastructures; knowledge of hybrid architectures and integration between Azure and AWS is beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for modern cloud technologies and willingness to contribute ideas and drive the evolution of architectures and new solution approaches.
• Experience managing external service providers and the ability to communicate technical requirements clearly and coordinate effectively.
• Azure and/or AWS certifications are welcome (not required).
• Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
