Description

You will help design and build key parts of the system across backend and frontend. The position includes strong backend development in Java/Spring Boot and a leading role for the React frontend. Work includes implementing features end-to-end—from backend logic and APIs to the user interface—while maintaining code quality through reviews.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and develop key components across backend (Java/Spring Boot) and frontend (React)
• Build and evolve backend services based on microservices architecture
• Own the React portion and influence its technical direction and further development
• Design and implement new functionality from backend logic and APIs through to the UI
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, mobile developers, and QA to deliver a secure and scalable system

Requirements

• Very good knowledge of the Java / Spring Boot ecosystem
• Practical experience developing modern web applications with React
• Strong orientation in databases, REST APIs, and application containerization
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Advantage: experience in security, authentication, digital identity, or systems with high reliability and strong data protection needs
• Technical university degree (IT)
• Fluent Czech/Slovak; English is not a problem
• Can start almost immediately
• 2–3 office days per week in Prague (Florenc)
