Description

Translate complex, ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytical problems and analysis plans. Perform descriptive, statistical, and visualization analysis on large datasets using SQL and Python or R, then communicate evidence, assumptions, and trade-offs to drive stakeholder decisions. Build scalable Power BI semantic models using DAX and develop reusable analytical tools and impact evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Define analytical problems and analysis plans from ambiguous business questions

• Communicate findings and trade-offs to align stakeholders and support implemented decisions

• Analyze large datasets with SQL and a general-purpose programming language such as Python or R

• Apply statistical methods to identify patterns, quantify relationships, and diagnose business outcomes

• Design and optimize scalable Power BI semantic models using DAX and dimensional modeling techniques

• Define and maintain shared metrics, measures, and business logic for consistent reporting

• Design impact evaluations, including hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and interpretation

• Build reusable analytical tools and data products to enable repeatable decision-making and reduce manual analysis

• Partner with economists, data scientists, engineers, and business teams to set analytical objectives, prioritize work, and establish success metrics

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Mathematics/Analytics/Data Science/Engineering/Computer Science/Business/Economics or related) plus 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis/reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business/financial analysis

• OR Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of relevant experience

• OR equivalent experience

• Experience applying statistics or data science to pricing, monetization, or related business problems

• Experience building Power BI dashboards and semantic models on Microsoft Fabric
