Description

Own the holistic architecture of the SAP S/4HANA real estate landscape, harmonizing business processes and interfaces. Advise business units on process optimization across SAP and ensure integration with upstream and downstream systems. Shape and modernize the integration landscape using APIs and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and support cloud and BI/reporting cloud architecture as part of SAP transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture for SAP S/4HANA in the real estate domain; align business processes and interfaces

• Consult business stakeholders on process optimization and integration into surrounding systems

• Translate real estate requirements (e.g., rent management, utility billing, maintenance) into efficient IT processes

• Advise on decisions between standard functionality and customization to ensure maintainable, future-proof architecture

• Design integrations with third-party systems (e.g., PropTechs, portals, metering service providers) via APIs and/or SAP BTP; modernize and optimize the integration landscape

• Plan, standardize, migrate, and design interfaces, data flows, and middleware across systems

• Support SAP IT projects that strengthen transformation to cloud and S/4HANA infrastructures; design BI and reporting cloud architecture

• Act as strategic advisor to executive management and business teams

• Optimize data flows, drive digital transformation between business and IT, and contribute to the digital roadmap for a growing real estate portfolio

Requirements

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable competence gained through professional practice

• Broad SAP knowledge; ideally several years of experience as an SAP architect or in a comparable role

• In-depth knowledge of SAP BW/BI and SAP RE-FX, FI/CO, and PS/PM; knowledge of SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and SAP Cloud Integration is a plus

• Ideally experience in the real estate industry

• Experience in process modeling and agile project methods such as Scrum or Kanban

• Strong understanding of SAP cloud technologies, SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and modern integration scenarios (BTP, OData, REST)

• Ability to explain complex business and IT logic clearly

• Analytical ability to understand dependencies in complex system landscapes

• Confidence in moderating workshops and translating between business departments and IT
