Description

You will support the technical operation of customer environments in the AWS Cloud. The role includes building AWS cloud infrastructure for productive use, administering and operating cloud services, monitoring systems, and ensuring stable, reliable operations through incident analysis and collaboration. You will also plan and implement updates, patches, version changes, backup/recovery, and security concepts, while automating recurring administration and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Build AWS Cloud environments for customers and prepare them for productive use

• Administer and operate cloud infrastructure and services while ensuring stable system operation

• Monitor IT environments, analyze incidents, and work with the team to maintain smooth operations

• Plan and implement updates, patches, version changes, backup/recovery, and security concepts

• Automate recurring administration and deployment processes and collaborate with support and project teams

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in Informatics, IT Specialist, Systems Integration, or comparable qualification

• Practical experience with AWS and good Linux administration skills

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery

• Experience with MySQL and SQL Server

• Ideally experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation of IT processes

• Very good German (C1) and good English (written and spoken)
