Description

You will operate and continuously improve an attack-detection platform for critical infrastructures with an emphasis on OT environments. The role combines operations, customer projects, and development so you can shape the technical direction and set your own focus areas. You will also build small microservices and tools to streamline operations and customer support.

Responsibilities

• Operate KRITIS Defender for customers remotely and keep it reliably running
• Plan and deliver customer systems—from sizing/design through commissioning to handover; act as technical contact in direct customer communication
• Continuously develop KRITIS Defender and the underlying platform
• Independently develop smaller microservices and tools to make operations more efficient
• Operate, administer, and further develop the company’s data-center portion

Requirements

• Completed technical degree or comparable training (preferred)
• Experience building and operating IT networks, OT networks, and control/SCADA environments
• Automation experience (e.g., Ansible, CI/CD such as GitLab CI/CD) and operation of Linux-based security systems like IDS, SIEM, or comparable solutions; related lateral technical entry is welcome
• Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python); at least one year of professional experience (required)
• Strong technical curiosity, willingness to try new things, and ability to learn topics independently
• Enjoyment of agile work (e.g., Scrum)
• German proficiency at least C1 (required) and English proficiency at least B2 (desired)
