Description

You will strengthen the IT department in the municipal finance office, focusing on administration and continuous improvement of client and endpoint environments, including mobile device management and endpoint security. You will administer the Citrix/Azure Local terminal server environment, provide second-level support, and support proactive troubleshooting by analyzing logs and threats. You will also implement measures to prevent and mitigate security risks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and further develop client management (OS installation, software packaging, patch management, GPOs)
• Administer terminal server environment (Citrix/Azure Local)
• Administer mobile device management and mobile endpoints (Intune)
• Provide second-level support and coordinate external service providers
• Analyze logs for error diagnosis and proactive issue detection
• Identify current threats and initiate measures to defend against them
• Administer endpoint security software and local firewalls

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, or a good completed apprenticeship as Fachinformatiker, Informatikkaufmann, or equivalent IT qualification
• Relevant professional experience in IT
• Up-to-date, comprehensive knowledge of endpoint security products, client management systems, Intune, Active Directory, and GPOs
• Familiarity with current operating systems (Windows, iOS) and current technology and hardware, plus Citrix and M42 products
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL
• PowerShell proficiency and experience with additional scripting languages
• Good English skills

• Valid driver’s license class B
