Description

You will contribute to the long-term development of a complex FinTech web platform used by Swiss banks, insurance companies, and financial institutions. The platform is built from interconnected modules such as investments, insurance, financial planning, and tools for client portfolios. The role combines backend services and frontend development, REST API design and integration, and ongoing testing and code reviews with long-term maintainability in mind.

Responsibilities

• Full stack development of a complex web application using Java and Angular

• Develop and maintain backend services (Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3, Spring Framework 6)

• Develop and evolve the frontend using Angular and TypeScript

• Design and implement REST APIs and integrate the frontend with the backend

• Work with relational databases and SQL

• Implement new features across multiple product modules

• Participate in technical design and application architecture

• Testing and code reviews with an emphasis on long-term code sustainability

• Share know-how with other team members

• Collaborate with experienced developers, architects, and product specialists in an agile environment

Requirements

• Commercial experience with Full Stack development

• Strong orientation in Java and the Spring ecosystem

• Experience with Angular and TypeScript

• Understanding of designing and using REST APIs

• Experience with relational databases and SQL

• Commitment to code quality, testing, and long-term solution maintainability

• Interest not only in implementation, but also in technical design and architecture

• Ability to communicate in English
