Description

You will develop and improve systems supporting the end-to-end claims reporting and handling process. The role includes designing and implementing microservices in a distributed architecture using Java/Spring, building REST APIs, and developing the Angular frontend. You will also enhance business workflows, write automated tests, and maintain high code quality through reviews.

Role Description / Responsibilities

• Build and evolve systems supporting the process of reporting and handling claims
• Design and develop microservices and distributed-architecture solutions
• Develop and maintain existing systems, including monolithic architecture when needed
• Design and implement REST APIs
• Implement backend solutions with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
• Develop and improve the frontend with Angular
• Improve business processes by extending existing functionality and designing new solutions
• Write automated tests and ensure adequate test coverage at multiple levels
• Perform and participate in code reviews; maintain code quality
• Participate in Scrum events and collaborate daily with the development team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java experience
• Very good knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Very good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA
• Very good knowledge of SQL
• Practical knowledge of Angular
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience designing and implementing REST API
• Practical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
