Description

You will modernize master data solutions for an automotive client by transitioning from legacy SSIS/MS SQL Server BI to cloud-native architectures on Azure and Databricks. The work covers the full data product lifecycle for MDM—design and ingestion, cleansing/standardization, transformation, and provisioning high-quality master data for analytics and downstream consumers.

Responsibilities

• Co-drive solution design with Business Analysts for cloud-native, scalable, secure target architectures, data models, data flows, and integration patterns
• Handle ingestion, cleansing, standardization, transformation, and API provisioning from source systems (e.g., customer and product master data)
• Optimize existing ETL/ELT flows, build extraction/loading infrastructure from diverse sources, and modernize legacy solutions
• Assess feasibility, risks, and dependencies; prepare implementation-ready designs, documentation, diagrams, and CI/CD automation
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data stewards, architects, and teams to deliver non-functional requirements (quality, security, stability)
• Evaluate/improve analytics solutions, integrate systems, and explain technical topics to business audiences

Requirements

• End-to-end experience with analytics platforms, data products, and data warehouses (star schema, Data Vault, multidimensional, tabular)
• Expert knowledge of SQL/T-SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory
• Experience with batch, incremental, CDC, and event-driven data patterns
• Logical and physical data modelling experience
• ETL/ELT design experience, including SSIS packages and C# script components
• API development and maintenance experience
• Azure cloud-native experience and experience modernizing legacy solutions (SSIS to cloud), including storage/processing trade-offs
• Agile working experience; familiarity with Jira (JQL) and Confluence
• Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to grow toward a Data/Analytics Architect role
• Clear documentation and English business communication
• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate
