Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions on Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks. The role focuses on building ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestrating data workflows (including Delta Live Tables), and modernizing the data platform with services such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Unity Catalog. You will ensure security, reliability, and high performance, and support issue diagnosis in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing solutions in Azure

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Apache Spark

• Develop solutions based on Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake

• Create and maintain data pipelines and orchestration flows, including Delta Live Tables (DLT)

• Support migration and modernization of the data platform, including implementing Unity Catalog

• Ensure quality, security, reliability, and high performance of data processing

• Diagnose and resolve production issues

• Participate in infrastructure automation, CI/CD implementation, and process monitoring

• Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure costs

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams on technical solution design

• Support initiatives related to analytics, reporting, and AI/ML

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer

• Very good knowledge of Python, SQL, and Apache Spark

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics

• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes

• Experience with Delta Live Tables (DLT) and Unity Catalog

• Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture

• Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging

• Ability to diagnose problems and optimize solutions processing large data volumes

• English at least B2
