Description

You will plan, manage, and further develop testing and validation activities for modern automotive infotainment systems on MQB, MEB, SSP, and Android Automotive platforms. You will build and maintain test strategies, concepts, and plans, run system/integration/acceptance tests through release, and ensure required software and hardware maturity levels. You will coordinate test teams and partners, analyze results to improve quality, and drive continuous testing and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, test concepts, and test plans for complex software/system scopes

• Plan and manage system, integration, and acceptance tests and oversee validation through release

• Coordinate test teams, development partners, and suppliers in an international environment

• Ensure software and hardware maturity for releases and manage release/system integration approvals

• Own test environments, test benches, and test vehicles

• Analyze test results, evaluate quality metrics, and derive improvement measures

• Manage defect management in Jira and KPM and track defect resolution

• Conduct technical reviews and risk analyses; continuously optimize test processes

• Drive implementation and further development of CI/CD, continuous testing, and test automation

• Create management reports, KPI dashboards, and quality assessments

• Facilitate defect review meetings and quality committees; support junior test engineers

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in automotive testing

• Strong knowledge of test management, system integration, software quality, defect analysis, and release management

• Experience with Jira and KPM (and/or comparable tools)

• Knowledge of ASPICE and automotive software development

• Strong analytical, structured working style, and high quality awareness

• Czech: very good (min. C1)

• English: good (min. B2)

• German: a plus (min. A2)
