Description

You will work on expert-level application development in the European digital identity space, including coordinating, developing, and introducing procedures for electronic proofs. The role also includes conceptual further development of methods, processes, and underlying cryptographic methods for Verifiable Credentials, as well as support for quality management, second-level incident management, software testing, and complex requirements analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand current developments around European digital identity

• Coordinate, develop, and implement procedures for electronic proofs

• Contribute to conceptual enhancement of methods, processes, and underlying cryptographic methods (Verifiable Credentials)

• Assist with quality management

• Support the Incident Management team in second-level support

• Conduct software tests and evaluate and assess test results

• Contribute to technically complex requirements analysis

Requirements

• Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH diploma) in IT, or completed IT vocational training or equivalent qualification (e.g., IT-specific training), or comparable multi-year practical IT experience

• Multiple years of relevant professional experience in application development

• Experience designing and implementing comparable software projects

• Deep knowledge in developing complex applications, ideally Java

• Willingness for occasional business travel and participation in further training

• Secure database skills (DB2 and Oracle); first experience with PostgreSQL is beneficial

• Desirable: knowledge of version control and integration-related software systems (GIT, Maven)

• Fluent German (spoken and written)

• Very good English reading and comprehension desirable
