Description

You will develop and own the functional architecture and cross-domain target views in close cooperation with business areas and IT. You will analyze and model business processes, business objects, and business capabilities to ensure a consistent functional structure, and actively contribute to design and architecture decisions for existing and new solutions. You will also support IT project planning and coordination, prioritize projects and requirements using strategic KPIs, and implement new functional or regulatory requirements in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and take responsibility for functional architecture and cross-domain functional target models with business and IT
• Analyze and model business processes, business objects, and business capabilities
• Ensure consistent functional structure across the organization
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for system evolution and new solutions
• Support project leaders with planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects
• Identify and resolve issues that occur during project implementation
• Support prioritization of projects and requirements based on strategic KPIs and corporate goals
• Implement new functional or legal/regulatory requirements in agile teams

Requirements

• Multi-year experience as functional, process, or business architect; ideally in requirements management or business analysis in insurance or finance
• Solid knowledge of IT systems, software development, and databases; strong interest in technical solutions for insurance
• Very good understanding of business processes, business architectures, and their mapping to IT systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, understand requirements, and present results and solutions clearly
• Strong structured and analytical thinking
• Ideally experience with classic and agile project management
• Very good German and English; Spanish is an advantage
