Description

You will be responsible for operating central server, storage, and backup environments and providing a stable technical foundation for high-quality healthcare IT. In this role, you administer the Commvault CommCell backup solution and on-premises Exchange, maintain storage systems, and support Windows and Linux server operations. You also analyze and resolve incidents and contribute to IT projects and system documentation, including on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Commvault CommCell backup solution and operate Exchange SE (on-premises)

• Manage and further develop storage systems (Huawei OceanStor Dorado, DELL PowerScale, HPE Alletra, DataCore SANsymphony)

• Plan, install, and configure data center systems, including systemsizing and solution strategy development

• Analyze and resolve operational issues and support second- and third-level support

• Contribute to and lead IT projects, maintain system documentation, and participate in on-call (rufbereitschaftsdiensten)

Requirements

• Completed studies in Computer Science or training as a specialist IT system integration with several years of professional experience

• Several years of experience in operating data center infrastructure

• Solid knowledge of storage and backup solutions, including HCI environments and hypervisors (e.g., VMware)

• Experience operating on-premises Exchange and administering Windows and Linux servers

• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills with a structured, quality-oriented approach

• Very good German and English skills; teamwork, initiative, and willingness to keep learning

• Proof of immunization against measles (legally required)
