Description

You will develop, operate, and continuously improve Microsoft BI solutions, including building and maintaining SSRS reports and implementing ETL processes. The role includes data modeling and SQL/T-SQL querying, as well as configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization of the Microsoft BI Report Server. You will also contribute to the design and further development of the data warehouse; optional cube work may be included.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and enhance Microsoft BI solutions

• Create and maintain SSRS reports based on the Microsoft SQL Server Report Server

• Implement and optimize ETL processes with SSIS

• Perform data modeling and write data queries with SQL/T-SQL

• Configure, maintain, and optimize performance of the Microsoft BI Report Server

• Work with Microsoft DTS and Attunity

• Contribute to conception and further development of the data warehouse

• Optional: create and use cubes

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science

• Solid experience in Microsoft BI environments

• Very good knowledge of SSRS, SSIS, and SQL/T-SQL

• Experience with configuration and operation of Microsoft BI Report Servers

• Practical experience with Microsoft DTS and Attunity

• Understanding of data warehouse concepts

• Good to very good German skills required

• Optional: Oracle knowledge

• Optional: R programming language knowledge

• Optional: Experience with C# and/or VB.NET
