Description

You will conceive, build, and run AI solutions—including agent-based assistance—for concrete use cases in various business units. You will identify and prioritize AI use cases from prototype through productive operation, assemble and structure relevant data in a hybrid environment, and integrate AI with existing systems using RAG approaches, interfaces, and data pipelines. You will also take responsibility for AI security, privacy, and governance and help drive safe, organization-wide AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Conception, development, and operation of AI applications and agent-based assistant systems

• Identify and prioritize AI use cases with business departments; support lifecycle from prototype to production

• Consolidate and categorize AI-relevant data to create a reliable, usable data basis in a hybrid environment

• Design integrations of existing business and document systems with AI (e.g., Retrieval/RAG, interfaces, data pipelines)

• Own security, data protection, and governance for AI usage; protect agents and company data; integrate AI into existing identity and security architecture

• Enable competency building: train colleagues for safe and meaningful AI tool usage; establish best practices and guardrails

• Shape the AI solution landscape from scratch and actively drive AI adoption in the company

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or comparable qualification recognized in Germany

• Practical experience in developing and implementing AI applications, especially Large Language Models, generative AI, and agent-based systems

• Solid experience in AI solution development; advantageous experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, APIs, and data/document system integration

• Experience handling multiple data sources; ability to structure, integrate, and make data usable for AI applications

• Knowledge of modern cloud and on-prem technologies; understanding of IT architectures, interfaces, and data pipelines

• Sound understanding of IT security, data protection, and governance in the context of AI, including integration into existing identity and security architectures

• Structured, analytical, solution-oriented approach; ability to understand stakeholder processes and communicate complex technical topics clearly

• German proficiency (spoken and written) at least C1

• Enjoyment in motivating and enabling colleagues for safe and meaningful AI use
