Description

You will maintain, develop, and optimize on-prem ERP systems and database solutions. The role includes analyzing business requirements, integrating systems and interfaces, performing upgrades and maintenance, and resolving incidents. You will also create system documentation as part of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and collaborate closely with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and optimize ERP systems (local on-premise)

• Maintain and develop database solutions (SQL)

• Analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions

• Regularly check database and interface integration integrity

• Ensure data integrity, data security, and data availability

• Perform system upgrades and regular maintenance

• Analyze errors and troubleshoot issues in existing systems

• Work closely with different departments to ensure smooth business processes

Requirements

• Completed IT education or degree or comparable qualification with relevant experience (desired)

• Ideally experience with multiple programming/data integration technologies such as SQL, SSIS, APIs, ASP, RPG/AS400, or Python

• Solid knowledge of database administration and development

• Experience in application migration and system integration

• Flexibility and experience with heterogeneous application landscapes

• Experience creating system documentation under SDLC

• Analytical/abstract thinking, problem-solving, and structured working style

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Good communication skills in English and German
