Description

You will design, install, and implement new telecommunications and IT solutions, including server and system configuration for R&D environments. The role includes administering and monitoring on-prem/cloud infrastructure, creating technical documentation, and diagnosing issues through root-cause analysis. You will also support architecture work such as technology selection and automation of administrative tasks using scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new telecommunication/IT solutions

• Install and configure servers and IT systems in R&D environments

• Administer and monitor on-prem/cloud infrastructure

• Create technical documentation for implemented and developed systems

• Diagnose and troubleshoot incidents; analyze root causes in R&D environments

• Design IT infrastructure architecture solutions and select appropriate technologies, products, and licenses

• Administer server hardware and manage R&D environments

• Automate administrative tasks using Bash and PowerShell

• Analyze errors and work with system, application, database, and network logs

Requirements

• Technical higher education (preferred: IT, cybersecurity, telecommunications, electronics, or related)

• Minimum 4 years of experience in designing and implementing IT systems

• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and access control in cloud, Linux, and Windows

• Knowledge of secure configuration standards for telecommunication/IT systems

• Knowledge of TCP/IP network stack and firewall configuration

• Experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server), including HA/DRS cluster configuration

• Experience with VMware-based high availability and disaster recovery solutions

• Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, and Veeam

• Experience with IT infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)

• Ability to design IT infrastructure architecture and select suitable technologies/licensing

• Ability to administer server hardware and manage R&D environments

• Ability to automate administrative tasks using Bash and PowerShell

• Ability to analyze errors and work with logs (system, application, database, and network)

• English level B1
