Description

As part of the IT team, you will operate and evolve central security services with the goal of an AI-Ready IT, supported by modern technology, automation, and AI assistance in daily operations. You will combine security expertise, automation, and AI capabilities to reduce routine tasks and improve secure, efficient, and high-quality IT operations.

Role responsibilities

• Manage, operate, and further develop security services

• Own IAM, authentication, access management, and security governance/security standards

• Analyze security incidents, handle incident response, and conduct vulnerability & risk management

• Operate and continuously improve security monitoring and SIEM solutions

• Support audits and compliance, GRC, and security initiatives

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, workplace, network, architecture, and external security partners

• Identify automation, security analytics, and AI opportunities to advance an AI-ready IT service organization

Requirements

• Completed IT training, degree in Computer Science, or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in IT security, security operations, or IAM

• Strong knowledge of IAM, authentication, access control, and security operations

• Experience with vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response

• Understanding of current threats, security measures, and best practices

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working approach with high service orientation

• Very good German and English skills; enjoy working in a team

• Ideally: experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, or comparable security solutions

• Ideally: knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Access Management

• Ideally: experience with ISO 27001, NIS2, SOC 2 and compliance/GRC processes

• Ideally: experience in risk management and security governance

• Ideally: experience with security automation and AI-supported analysis, monitoring, or response solutions

• Ideally: experience with technical responsibility for services, providers, or projects
