Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to strengthen the organization’s security posture using Microsoft technologies. You will manage Microsoft security tools in cloud and on-premises environments, run security monitoring and incident response, and improve detection and automated response workflows. The role also includes security assessments, vulnerability management, identity and access management support, and maintaining security documentation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage Microsoft security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
• Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents
• Develop and improve security monitoring use cases, detection rules, and automated response workflows
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis
• Support identity and access management initiatives
• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements
• Participate in incident response activities and forensic investigations
• Create and maintain security documentation, procedures, and technical standards

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies: Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Purview
• Strong understanding of security concepts: IAM, Zero Trust Architecture, endpoint security, security monitoring and incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud security
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
• Ability to analyze security events and perform root cause investigations
• Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python) would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional English-speaking teams
