Description

Develop, operate, and optimize a centralized Security Operations Center security platform to support stable and secure operations. Create detection use cases and automations with Security Analysts, integrate new data sources and systems, and support the onboarding of new security solutions from requirements through testing to production. Evaluate new technologies, improve processes and standards, and support audits with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and optimize the security platform and SOC tools for stable, secure operations

• Partner with Security Analysts to build detection use cases and automations

• Integrate new data sources and systems to increase visibility into the IT landscape

• Plan and support new security solution introductions (requirements, tests, production)

• Assess new technologies for added value and support the security platform strategy

• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Information Security teams to deliver secure, future-ready solutions

• Ensure traceable documentation, support audits, and continuously improve processes and standards

Requirements

• Several years of experience in security engineering or within a SOC

• Solid knowledge of SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR, or PAM solutions

• Experience in network and cloud security; ideally experience building or evolving security platforms

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and/or ISO 27001 applied in SOC environments

• Experience with at least one scripting language (Python or PowerShell) and using automation for security processes

• Ideally experience with Splunk, SentinelOne, CyberArk, or Proofpoint

• Certifications like CISSP or GIAC are a plus

• Analytical, structured, independent working style; generates and communicates new ideas in English

• Willingness for occasional business travel
